Billy’s Boudin & Cracklins first opened its doors in 1995 as a small gas station and diner in Krotz Springs, LA, before becoming a culinary staple in the community with its rollout of perfectly seasoned boudin, cracklins, and Cajun specialty meats. This popularity led to the opening of three additional locations across the Bayou State, and eventually, the launch of online sales so flavor fanatics across the country could savor their Cajun favorites.
The Challenge at Hand
Before working with Comit Developers, Billy’s Boudin & Cracklins had two separate websites, which split their website traffic and caused consumer confusion. Neither site offered true online ordering capabilities—the closest option was a form submission that required an employee to call the customer back to complete the order and take payment. This created major gaps in their intake–to–close ratio.
