Michelle O’Neal ensures our business runs smoothly and that our employees are engaged in their craft. She is current VP of Operations and Human Resources but has worked in the website industry since 2004. Her previous roles include editorial assistant, content developer, project manager, and operations manager.
She enjoys working for Comit Developers because of the people she works with every day. They are passionate about their jobs and really strive to set the standards in web development. Michelle finds it fulfilling coaching and mentoring her team. She tries to continuously develop their technical and soft skills to help them reach their individual goals. In 2017, Michelle helped facilitate the merger of Wide Web Marketing and Comit Developers, and also was a key player in the acquisition of Bizzuka’s website hosting business in 2022.
She is a current member of the Society of Human Resources (SHRM) as well as Acadiana SHRM. Michelle has previously served on the board of the Acadiana Advertising Federation as Technology Chair. She earned a B.A. from New York University in Journalism & Mass Communications with a Sociology minor and also earned her M.B.A. from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a concentration in Human Resources. Michelle continues her passion for learning by completing certification programs on topics including veteran hiring, disabilities awareness, and best practices in web development.
Michelle is married to Kristopher, and they have 2 children together. After work, they keep her moving with their various activities from dance to music to sports. In the free time she has left, Michelle enjoys volunteering at her church as a Sunday School teacher. She is also Treasurer and a Den Leader for Cub Scout Pack 371 in Lafayette, LA.
