Lauren Woodall sets the standards and also the expectations for the website design and development team. As our Team Lead in the web design and development department, she works closely with her fellow team members to define and update processes, select the appropriate tools needed, and lead the peer design review process. Due to her extensive knowledge and experience, Lauren also assists the sales team with website estimates by finding solutions to business owner’s requests. This helps our quotes to be as accurate as possible and provide a well-developed site on time and within budget.
Lauren originally wanted to be a veterinarian but ended up enrolling in some business classes in college. During that time she also enrolled in a desktop publishing course and made the switch to focus on graphic design. Her time studying business gave her a different perspective when it came to website design. A website was not just a well-designed visual for a company but it had the power to drive sales, convert users to customers and become a living marketing tool.
She earned 3 A.A.S. degrees, one each in Graphic Communications, Office Systems Technology, and in Computer Specialist (Applications), all from Louisiana Technical College. Due to her zest for learning and research, Lauren is continually growing her knowledge in all areas of web development including user experience, web accessibility, search engine optimization, and more; allowing her to continue developing solutions that meet our clients’ needs.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys cooking, crafting, sewing, and spending time with her husband Kris and her dog, Obi.
